A generative poetry workshop.
This workshop will be exploring the ways that sound can move us, transport us, and how it can make for more rich and detailed work when it comes to writing.
We will take a look at how the qualities of sound appear in poetry and the ways we can make our work more of a sensory experience through its inclusion.
This evening of creative writing is for writers of all experience or anybody seeking a new creative outlet.
Together we will explore prompts, readings, exercises, and group conversation to help facilitate creativity and open up new ideas and perspectives to bring to the page.
Please bring a notebook and something to write with.
