Stained Glass Terrarium Workshop

Come learn a variety of techniques to design, scale, cut, grind, tin, foil, lead, solder, and create your very own terrarium using the tiffany method. Glass in awesome colors and textures will be provided for each participant as well as all other necessary materials. Hosted by Jennie Ross

About the Tiffany method: The Tiffany foil method, developed by Louis Comfort Tiffany, changed the game for stained glass artists. Unlike the traditional lead came technique (which is also fun, but very toxic), the Tiffany method employs the use of copper foil, edging each piece of cut glass which is then soldered together.

Grief Circle
Jan

Grief Circle

Death is inevitable; it's just a matter of time until she hits far or near. As she turns love into thin air, we must learn to live with the new reality she leaves behind, and redirect this love to ourselves. Often avoided as a topic, it is silly to run away from - instead, let's look at the various shapes grief can take among us, the deep transformation death offers, verbalize our experiences, and/or simply listen and observe in silence.

Offering a space to gather and speak about our loved ones in the skies, and harness the wisdom of the Tibetan Book of the Dead. Bring a picture of them, and pick some flowers on your way if you feel.

Whether you are grieving someone, something, an animal, a relationship, a dream... no grief is too big or small. Grief is meant to be lived together - to be seen, heard, and held.
