Unbound, Book Club - Mon Nov 3rd

$0.00

A literary exploration for all levels of readers. Through thoughtful discussion, shared insights, and honest conversation we explore how stories shape us and more importantly how we can reclaim our authentic selves. We’re beginning with “Women Who Run With the Wolves: Myths and Stories of the Wild Woman Archetype” by Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estés. Dr. Estés unfolds rich intercultural myths, fairy tales, and stories, many from her own family, in order to help women reconnect with the fierce, healthy, visionary attributes of this instinctual nature. Written from the perspective of a Jungian analyst, the book explores the Wild Woman archetype of feminine psyche through ancient wisdom and timeless stories. We’ll meet on a biweekly cadence.

Beginning together with the story of Baba Yaga and picking 2-3 stories at the end of each session to dive into on our own.

We’ll come back together at the next meeting to discuss and integrate our insights. Bring your copy of the book.

Open Donation. Feel free to bring a snack to share. Tea provided.

6pm.
