Leathercraft 101 - Tue Feb 17th

Discover the fundamentals of leathercraft through a hands-on project using the same American-made leather trusted in fine US saddlery since 1867. In this two-hour session, you will learn essential leatherworking techniques and leave with a handcrafted leather keychain or bag charm made entirely by you.

This class is designed as an approachable introduction for anyone curious about working with leather, traditional tools, and foundational techniques.

Guided by Alejandro Ruelas, founder of Ruelas Co., a premium leather goods brand rooted in heritage craft and modern design, you will learn how to:

• Cut and shape a leather pattern

• Stamp and personalize your piece

• Saddle-stitch by hand

• Burnish and finish edges

• Install professional-grade hardware

All materials and tools are provided.
Limited to six participants to ensure personal guidance, a calm workspace, and a focused hands-on experience.
