Learn the basic science behind cyanotype printmaking, a camera-less photographic printing process, and leave with an archival quality print of your own making.
We'll explore the history and uses of this beautiful photographic process, mix the chemistry, experiment with test exposures, and create your own large format cyanotype print on archival paper. You'll also be introduced to basic toning techniques to further explore the possibilities of your finished work.
Participants are welcome to bring photographic negatives or physical objects to incorporate into their compositions. A selection of materials will also be provided.
Led by Eliette Singleton.
DIY Gifting Series: This class is part of our DIY Gifting Series! Leave with your own original print ready to decorate with, or give it as a beautiful gift.
1-3pm.
Please note: Cancellations within 48 hours of the workshop cannot be refunded or rescheduled, as our teachers and team prepare materials and supplies specifically for each participant. Thank you for your understanding.
