Be guided through making a pair of beaded earrings, bracelet, and necklace.
Participants can bring their own beads, and I will provide a mix of wood, shell, glass, resin, and gemstone beads for design and construction. Tools and materials are provided.
Instructor will give minimal design instruction, but discuss the elements that go into thoughtful design, and thoughtful and culturally rich beaded jewelry fabrication, touching on personal and professional history as a jeweler and teacher.
Best for beginners but open to all, and children 8-9 years and up are typically able.
Students leave with basic knowledge of three different clasping techniques, using three different materials.
