Spend an evening in the shop learning the basics of working with wood by hand. In this beginner-oriented workshop, you’ll choose a board, study its character, and shape it into a useful piece using traditional hand tools.
We’ll walk through layout, cutting, shaping, and finishing, with space to experiment and ask questions. Woodworking is physical, so expect to put in some effort. We’ll also mix a small batch of all-natural finish at the start of class, which you’ll apply to your completed project.
This is a longer session (about 2–3 hours), so feel free to bring snacks or water to stay comfortable while you work.
You’ll head home with a finished piece that’s practical, personal, and entirely handmade. All materials provided. No experience needed.
