Embroidery 101 & Tea - Sun 3/8
Embroidery is a quiet, meditative way to draw with thread.
In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll learn the foundational stitches that open up a whole world of texture and design. We’ll cover how to thread a needle, transfer a simple pattern, and practice essential stitches like the backstitch, satin stitch, and French knots.
As you work, you’ll begin to see how small, repeated movements build something intricate and personal. There’s no rush here—just a steady rhythm of needle and thread, space to ask questions, and time to settle into the process.
You’ll leave with a finished embroidered piece (or a strong start), plus the skills and confidence to continue stitching at home.
All materials are provided. No experience necessary—just patience and curiosity.
1pm - 3pm.
Led by June Lagoon.
Please note: Cancellations within 48 hours of the workshop cannot be refunded or rescheduled, as our teachers and team prepare materials and supplies specifically for each participant. Thank you for your understanding.
