Get your hands in the earth and learn the fundamentals of natural building with earthen plaster.
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to source the materials, mix and prepare an earthen plaster, and apply it to a surface using traditional techniques. We’ll talk through the different ingredients that make up a good plaster mix, how to adjust the consistency, and what to look for as you work.
You’ll get plenty of time to practice mixing, working with the material, and laying plaster yourself. No previous experience is needed, just please wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little muddy.
