The Art Of Junk Journaling - Fri, 11/13

$30.00

Do you have a box full of memorabilia and have no clue what to do with them? Or are old, crumpled receipts filling up in the bottom of your purse?

Bring in all those scraps of paper that’s been piling up on your desk (sticky notes, concert tickets, photobooth strips, or even the labels peeled off of wine bottles) and we'll learn how to transform everyday paper and keepsakes into a multi-layered journal spread.

In this workshop, you'll learn the art of junk journaling – turning an ordinary pile of forgotten "junk" into a collection of memories. From the postcards we buy on a road trip but never write in, to the free stickers and take-out menus we grab on our way out of a restaurant, every piece of paper holds a memory. Whether your scrapbooks are bursting at the seams or you have never glued a piece of ephemera in your life, the art of junk journaling is a space to quiet your inner critic, play with paper textures, and create purely for the joy of it. During this experience, warm herbal tea will be offered to help slow down for a night of sorting, layering, and memory-keeping.

Feel free to bring in your favorite journal. Art materials will be provided (but don't forget to bring in your personal collection of junk!). No experience needed.

Come curious. Stay creative. Leave connected.

6-8pm

Please note: Cancellations within 48 hours of the workshop cannot be refunded or rescheduled, as our teachers and team prepare materials and supplies specifically for each participant. Thank you for your understanding.
