This hand building workshop will introduce students to the foundational ceramic technique of coiling. Students will learn how to roll coils, shape a vessel, and construct a functional or sculptural coil pot while exploring form, balance, and personal design choices. After pots have been fired students will go home with at least one fully functional coil pot piece.
Notes: Firing of pots can take anywhere from 2-3 weeks. So expect to pick up your pot 2-3 weeks post class.
